Since maintenance and updates from Friday 6th files and directories with spaces in the name could not be opened, renamed, deleted or otherwise manipulated through the web site. The problem was corrected this morning. In the process a brief interruption in access notebooks occurred and access to the notebooks was temporarily slow, running notebooks were not interrupted.
An option in the webserver configuration regarding the handling of spaces was causal to the problem. Although the option is suggested in the official documentation it was detrimental in our setup and was subsequently removed. The service is available again without limitation.
