The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) today announced the funding of a new consortium called HammerHAI. The Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung mbH Göttingen (GWDG) is building an AI Factory in Germany together with other experts. To this end, the consortium will create offers for the eminent need for services in the context of artificial intelligence in European industry, start-ups and SMEs as well as in academic research and the public sector. HammerHAI will establish an AI Factory that will provide a secure supercomputing infrastructure optimized for AI, provide expert service and support, and develop solutions that facilitate access to and use of powerful AI technologies.
