The regularly offered course “IT-Security Guidelines of the University – Introduction for Users” will be held on December 10th 2015.
IT Security Guidelines of the University Göttingen
In June 2007 the presidential board of the university and the managing board of the UMG have implemented IT-security guidelines for the university and the UMG.
This course addresses users of IT-systems (computers), i.e., almost the complete staff, and introduces those guidelines affecting this group.
Guard yourself from threats arising in the use of computers and in the internet!
In an introduction to the topic, we explain which threats you may face in the usage of computers or the internet and which basic rules you need to follow to safely use computers and the internet.
