The announced maintenance on GWDG ownCloud service has been completed successfully.

The GWDG ownCloud service will be down for maintenance on 29.10.2015 from 4pm till 7pm. We will upgrade the ownCloud Software to version 8.1.4 as well as the infrastructure of the service.

During the night from Wednesday to Thursday all servers of GWDG Cloud  Share will be updated. Users may experience a short interruption when  using the website and clients will briefly loose connection and reconnect to the service. Since the update is done sequentially over all  servers the service as a whole remains operational.

The connection problems of the e-mail service have been fixed. The connection failure occurred on Saturday afternoon and affected all connection methods. First analyzes of the problem showed that database errors occurred. A more detailed analysis is executed on Monday. We apologize for all the trouble caused.
