The following problem occured today between 1:00pm and 1:20pm
Affected: – Router-xr physik1
– Network area north campus except forestry
– Wi-Fi / eduroam North Campus
– VoIP / Telephony North Campus
impact:
– Total loss of connection to the GÖNET / Intern.
– Total failure WiFi.
– Total failure VoIP telephony.
Due to repair work on a UPS system
(Uninterruptible Power Supply), the central router xr-physik1 had to be restarted.
Liebe GÖNET-Teilnehmerinnen und -Teilnehmer,
es ist leider folgendes Problem aufgetreten:
Zeit: Di 1.12. 13:00 – 13:20
Betroffen:
– Router xr-physik1
– Netzwerk Bereich Nordcampus außer Forst
– WLAN/eduroam Nordcampus
– VoIP/ Telefonie Nordcampus
Auswirkungen:
– Totalverlust der Verbindung ins GÖNET/ Intern.
– Totalausfall WLAN.
– Totalausfall VoIP-Telefonie.
Im Rahmen von Reparaturarbeiten an einer USV-Anlage (Unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung) kam es leider aufgrund eines „Wackelkontaktes“ trotz redundanter Netzteile und Stromversorgung zu einem Ausfall und Neustart des zentralen Routers xr-physik1.
