Due to the semester change towards the winter semester, large amounts of data had to be synchronized into the OpenLDAP directory service. OpenLDAP is used for user administration and user logon by many services.

Synchronization started yesterday in the evening and lead to inconsistent OpenLDAP databases and thus to services failures. After the repair was finished at around 9 p.m., synchronization was stopped and, in the course of today, carried out step by step to avoid further failures.

After the completion of this work, all services are available again. We apologize for the inconvenience.
