Due to a short interruption of general internet connectivity the service Rocket.Chat suffered an outage from 01.35 pm – 02.40 pm.

The prolonged outage is the result of all clients and users suddenly disconnecting and reconnecting due to the internet outage, resulting in an overload of the service which requires manual intervention. This problem is known to the Rocket.Chat project and also observed by operators of other large setups.
