The current version of the Rocket.Chat service as of Jan 14th unfortunately has several small bugs in its user interface which went unnoticed by us during the update. Most notably this affects OTR-Messages, markdown formatting of channel information, read/unread status of threads and handling of emojis attached to messages (which makes simple voting cumbersome).
As soon as an Update is available that alleviates the issues it will be applied.

Because GWDG is not active in the development of the Rocket.Chat software we do not directly affect the implementation of changes and improvements. We are however active in reporting errors and test new versions on a separate test system to minimize negative impact on the service for all users.
