GWDG and KISSKI at “Science goes City” on May 5, 2024

On May 5, 2024, science will come from the laboratories, libraries, offices and lecture halls to the people in Göttingen’s city center. Diverse research meets a diverse city at the “Science goes City” day of action. The GWDG together with the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Göttingen and the AI Service Center for Sensitive and Critical Infrastructures (KISSKI) will also be there with two interesting presentations and would be delighted to see many visitors.

Particulate matter measurement

Health, nature conservation and technology are important topics that play a major role in everyday life. With a simple experiment to measure particulate matter, the GWDG, together with the Institute of Computer Science, wants to combine these topics and show how citizens can participate in a citizen science project. Data processing and analysis will be clearly demonstrated with the experiment.

Questions can be asked not only via chat, but also by voice input. The answers can be heard via the AI-generated voice of “Mira”.
