In 2020, the GWDG celebrated its 50th anniversary. On this occasion, a ten-minute YouTube video shows an interesting time travel through 50 years of scientific data processing at the GWDG at the long-time founding location “Am Faßberg” on the Max Planck Campus and also gives a preview of the new Göttingen Data Center, Burckhardtweg 4, in the northern area of Göttingen University, which was handed over to the GWDG on June 30, 2021.
