In order to further focus the enormous progress in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) for critical infrastructures, especially in the fields of energy and medicine, and to act as a competent contact in the future, five institutions from the middle of Germany, including the GWDG, are researching how an AI service center can be established. The joint project „AI Service Center for Sensitive and Critical Infrastructures“ (KISSKI), led by the University of G\u00f6ttingen, is being funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research with 17 million euros over a period of around three years.<\/p>\n
