Running VMs are not affected and are still accessible.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, 08.05.2021, extensive maintenance work will be performed on the GWDG Cloud Server service from 08:00 to 18:00. This will result in the loss of management functions for VMs (start, stop, assignment of floating IPs, delete, etc.). The availability of running virtual machines, however, will not be affected.<\/p>\n<p>Background: In addition to a version upgrade of the used cloud management framework (OpenStack), an operating system update will also be performed on the management components, as well as an adjustment of some network settings to address pressing scaling issues in the context of the deployed SDN networking stack.
