A critical security update unfortunately cause an outage of the main DNS-resolver and the DHCP-server for the duration of about an hour. It was caused by an error in the update-procedures of the manufacturer of the used DNS-appliances. The error had to be analysed first and subsequently bypassed.<\/p>\n
Affected were, from about 5:45pm to 7pm:
\n– DNS: name resoltion via the main DNS-resolver, the secondary resolver was available
