Migration

The SharePoint 2013 farm will be replaced by a SharePoint 2019 farm. All content will be transferred to the new enviroment.

Procedure
The SharePoint 2013 farm will be available read only the whole migration period. The content will be copied and transferred to the new enviroment. If everything goes according to plan, then the DNS entries will be set to the new farm and everything will be available with the known addresses.

The migration is planned from friday 29.01.2021 until Sunday 31.01.2021

This will affect all Site-Collections starting with one of the following URLs:

https://sharepoint.mpg.de/
https://share.mpibpc.mpg.de/
https://sharepoint.gwdg.de/
