To improve security and establish compatibility with future Microsoft security patches for
the Windows operating system, the security settings for the network drives of the
University Administration will be adjusted during the maintenance window on Thursday,
16.06.2022 from 18:45 – 19:00.

The changes will be transparent for current operating systems. Access problems observed in
isolated cases during similiar changes in the past can usually be resolved by rebooting
the respective user system.

For old operating systems that are no longer supported, the new security settings may
result in a loss of access to the network drives.
