9th Logistics Conference in Göttingen


„Future technology of artificial intelligence in the company“
Under this motto, the 9th LogistikTAGUNG took place in Göttingen on June 12, 2024 with expert presentations on the potential, prospects and problems of AI use. In keeping with the AI focus, the organizer, Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung und Stadtentwicklung Göttingen mbH (GWG), invited the GWDG to co-organize and actively participate in the event.

Around 90 participants kicked off the topic “AI – Brave New World” at the Sartorius Campus Göttingen. After a get-together and time for networking, the event continued at the GWDG in the Göttingen Computer Center (RZGö). During guided tours, Stefan Teusch and André Jendrysseck from the GWDG offered participants the opportunity to experience the high-performance computing (HPC) area, provided insights into the complex processes in the data center and explained the technology. Prof. Dr. Julian Kunkel gave an insight into the world of high-performance computing and the handling of large amounts of data. The program was rounded off with a short presentation by Dr. Stefanie Mühlhausen on KISSKI, the AI Service Center for Critical and Sensitive Infrastructures.
