Since the new load balancer for the GWDG Exchange Server was put into operation last sunday, there have been occasional problems with email clients on Apple devices. It turned out that the mail client on older devices was sending authentication requests that the new load balancer could not handle properly.
The problem is now fixed and all users can access their email again.
