Most researchers at the University of Göttingen and the Max Planck Society are familiar with the GWDG as a long-standing IT provider. However, the GWDG also provides high-performance computing (HPC) resources to researchers at the University and the MPS. With the Scientific Compute Cluster (SCC), the GWDG offers a local, general-purpose HPC system that is available to all researchers at the university and the MPS to improve their research. This means they can get started without an application process or scientific proposal. Different groups of users have already discovered HPC for their purposes and we would like to further expand our offer to meet their needs. To continuously ensure the availability of suitable and optimally pooled Tier 3 resources for research, we have designed the following surveys.
