DFG funds new Collaborative Research Center at Göttingen Campus

The German Research Foundation (DFG) will fund a new Collaborative Research Center (SFB) of the University of Göttingen and its partners at the Göttingen Campus entitled “Cognition of Interaction” from January 1, 2022. The funding amount is around 12.5 million euros for an initial four years. In addition to the University, the German Primate Center – Leibniz Institute for Primate Research (DPZ), the European Neuroscience Institute Göttingen, the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, the GWDG, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, and the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, are participating.

Prof. Dr. Philipp Wieder, deputy head of the GWDG, leads the subproject INF in this SFB as Principal Investigator. With the participation in the SFB, the successful work of the Göttingen eResearch Alliance will be continued.
