Impact: Malfunction of several services
Update 2:
The problems with the storage system are resolved and the affected services should be available shortly. Information about the affected virtual servers will be distributed via the VMware mailing list.
Update 1:
Some of the services which we expected to be not affected and some virtual servers are currently unavailable due to problems with one of the storage systems (NetApp). We are in contact with our service partners. More information:

On Saturday, July 22nd, 2017, the entire power supply on the Max Planck campus in Göttingen will be switched off between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. due to some maintenance work to improve the availability of the electricity. This was already pointed out in detail on June 6th (see https://info.gwdg.de/news/information-breaking-the-energy-supplies-am-max-planck-campus-and-fmz/), since an interruption of several services before and after this period is unfortunately inevitable.
At any time, you can find up-to-date information on the state of the availability of services or the times of shutdown and reboot at:

Unluckily, both pages referred above are only available in German.
We regret the inconveniences and ask for your understanding.
