Simplified use of Zoom by SSO connection

In order to simplify the access to videoconferencing services for our users, now also Zoom as well as Cisco WebEx are connected to our single sign-on infrastructure. This enables users to log on to the services with their home account and create meetings there. To do so, you need to activate your account which involves transmission of account data (e-mail address, first and last name, and institute affiliation) to Zoom. This requires your consent. You can find more information about Zoom and how to activate your account in our online documentation. Please note that Zoom is an external cloud solution and not operated by us. Therefore, this service is not appropriate for sensitive or personal data. Please consult your data protection officer if you have any questions regarding this matter.
