Starting in October 2023, the GWDG will offer special courses for apprentices in addition to the usual course program of its Academy. These two- or three-day courses will take place in the Göttingen Data Center, Burckhardtweg 4, and are aimed at the apprenticeships for IT specialist, IT systems electronics technician, and electronics technician. Apprentices thus have the opportunity to benefit from the broad expertise of GWDG employees and to gain in-depth insights into exciting topics such as data center technology, network operation or application development. Apprentices in the above-mentioned professions from all institutions of the University of Göttingen, the Max Planck Society and scientific institutions that belong to the extended circle of users of the GWDG can participate.
