Due to an upgrade necessary to remove a firmware bug and preparatory work to replace the current NetApp MetroCluster environment, maintenance work on the existing NetApp system for the university’s group shares must be carried out from 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Although this work will be carried out online, without interruption of operation due to corresponding redundancies, the existing CIFS-connections may be terminated twice due to the necessary cluster failovers (limitations of the CIFS-protocol).

Unfortunately, the availability of our service provider did not allow us to carry out this work in the maintenance window on Thursday.
