Impact: read-only access to user folders

Due to a file system migration to a new storage system, access to personal user folders at \\winfs-uni.top.gwdg.de\YourUserID$ will be limited for a period starting 21:00 April 30th and ending 24:00 May 3th. During this time, the network drive will remain ‘read-only’, prohibiting the creation and editing of files.

At the end of this period you will be able to access your user folder as usual – you are not required to change anything on your side.
