To improve security and to prepare for future changes in Windows client and server systems, some configuration adjustments have to be implemented concerning the interaction between the file server where the student home directories are stored and the Active Directory servers used for authentication and rights management.

Although we do not expect any problems, there is a small risk that during the configuration adjustments there will be short phases with authentication problems when accessing the corresponding shares.
