Dear GWDG Cloud Share users,
we hereby inform you that GWDG Cloud Share will be discontinued at the beginning of 2019. To make it easy for you to transfer your data to the successor service GWDG ownCloud, a website has been set up where you can initiate the migration.
The migration website can be found at https://cloudshare.gwdg.de/migrate/?lng=en.
The procedure is mostly self-explanatory due to the information on the website and requires only a few steps: On the website, start the migration by entering your “GWDG Cloud Share”-login data. The migration runs in the background, the duration will vary depending on the size of your data. If you have shared folders with others, these users will be informed about your move to GWDG own Cloud and receive a new link to access the content. Once the process is complete, you will receive another e-mail notification.
You can find detailed instructions and further information at https://info.gwdg.de/docs/doku.php?id=en:services:storage_services:gwdg_cloud_share:migration.
