The GWDG’s AI ecosystem has reached an important milestone: over 700,000 users from 400 institutions across Germany are already benefiting from the various generative AI services. A nationwide basic AI service for all German universities is thus within reach – secure, efficient and low-threshold. The GWDG invites politics, science and the media to a workshop in Göttingen on September 10, 2025 to plan how a nationwide basic supply can succeed. Together for a sustainable scientific landscape.
